Why do so many services refuse to just do the proposal? (Or charge double?)

Okay, I've noticed a pattern. It's easy to find someone to write Chapter 4 (results) or Chapter 5 (discussion). But trying to get someone to write the proposal (Chapter 1-3) is either:
a) Not offered
b) Insanely expensive
c) They say yes and then deliver garbage

Why is that? My theory: The proposal is the hardest part to fake. It requires understanding your specific methodology, your committee's quirks, and the gap in the literature. Generic writers can churn out a discussion section because it's mostly "filler." But the proposal? That's the blueprint.

Anyone know a service that actually does proposals well? Or is this the one thing I actually have to do myself? (Rhetorical question. I know the answer. :))

In my experience as a PhD Candidate in Biotechnology specializing in therapeutic protein engineering, I have found that the dissertation process can indeed bring unexpected revelations. in my experience, when working on a cross-sectional analysis recently, i stumbled upon a crucial insight regarding dissertation structure that shifted my perspective entirely.

It highlighted the importance of clarity and coherence in conveying research findings effectively. Regarding your query on services and proposals, it is intriguing why some services choose not to offer proposal assistance separately. It could be due to the intricate nature of aligning the proposal with the subsequent research phases seamlessly. However, charging double for this service seems excessive; transparency and fair pricing are vital in academic collaborations.
